The Bridal Lounge is Cheshire's most loved bridal boutique. But saying 'Yes to the Dress', during lockdown, meant adapting to eCommerce.

It's all about relationships...

Having built their main site previously, Carpe Diem were able to deliver a Shopify solution at speed. Close collaboration meant, once the framework was complete and training given, the shop was Sara's to merchandise and run.

Bridal Lounge is one of the many businesses that has been affected by Covid-19. They sell designer wedding dresses and everything they do is based on fittings and appointments.

Facing the challenge head-on, owner Sara Jones had been conducting online appointments and showing new stock to customers via video. That was going well, but there needed to be a means to buy items online and that’s when we stepped in.  The image below shows how Sara conducted the consultations over zoom speaking direclty to customers.

As their retained agency we worked hard to minimise costs, when the tills weren’t ringing in a closed shop. Working directly with Sara, we ensured hours burnt were as efficient as possible.

Once the framework and theme styling was consistent with the existing brand, we put together training videos so all of the content and product information could be managed and manipulated by Sara and her team.  

We were always on hand to help with any questions and jumped in if there were any problems. We even integrated a shoppable Instagram feed and set up delivery options, based on weight and locations.

All in all; we went from an initial conversation to a fully populated Shopify eCommerce solution in just eight working days.
