Turning the changing bag into a modern, luxury item meant Kerikit needed a brand and an eCommerce site that reflected the personalised expectations of a distinct target audience.

A designer bag company with a difference, Kerikit's products are multifunctional - whether you're a mum, a boss or just being you. They've been featured in Grazia, The Guardian, Tatler and many more.

The requirement was to build a modern website that had a lot of functionality to help increase the number of items added to an order. We chose to work with Shopify in this instance because of the ease of use in the back end for the client and also the multitude of applications we could integrate.

The final result was a website anchored by a ‘Kit Building’ mechanic that allows customers to add accessories and items that go with their bag, creating their own Kit.

We also integrated an online community where customers could share pictures, ask questions and talk to each other. This is based on a Facebook group that Kerikit had with over 300 members.

The online community integrates fully to the online store and members can get points for buying products and referring friends; they can then spend those points on their next order.

Along with app integrations, we also added custom elements to enhance the user’s shopping experience including colour swatches and collapsible text ‘concertinas’.

KeriKit first launched the website to their online Facebook community so they could get early access and also to test the site, passing on feedback.

Since launch that Facebook community has grown six-fold.
